Day 118/365 Photo

With all the rain we have been having ...again!!! I though i would take a photo of the dam that supplies all the water for the Redlands ...as you can see it is very full, it actually is right up to the edge of the road in some parts ...now i took this while driving by so it is not a real close up shot.

Day 116/365 Photo

todays photo is of my pile of layouts i completed today and yesterday .... i wanted to get more pages done over the easter/anzac break, but as my darling daughters decided to share their cold germs with me ... i had some time out on the lounge watching movies.

more layouts

i have been creating again today and here is what i have created .... they look a whole lot better irl ... the photos are rubbish as the lighting is not very good ...it is very gloomy outside. I am very happy to be using up plenty of prima flowers on my pages.

i so love this prima trim and these prima flower i sprayed them with maya mist, the feathers don't like it so much but after hitting them with the heat gun to dry them off they come up ok.

this page needs something else but everything i tried didn't work with the Maya Road flowers, so i have left it ...for now.

on this page i sprayed the prima flowers with maya mist to match the colour theme

i made the flower centres on this page using satin ribbon

on this page the ribbon actually matches Samara's costume but looks totally different in the photo.

I now have lovely black stained hands from the Maya Mist ... but i am really enjoying creating again.

Day 115/365 Photo - Anzac Day 2011

Today's photo is of the Cenotaph at after the Dawn service at Cleveland this morning ... i am always moved by this service and seeing the diggers march for me is a highlight, they are such brave men and they march with such pride.

here is a bonus photo of Taylah laying her tribute with all the other wreaths, it is lovely at Cleveland as they have sprigs of rosemary with a poppy for the children to place on the Cenotaph.

***

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest We Forget.
