Disneyland Memories Documented in a Snap with Simple Stories Say Cheese Collections

#kerriegurney #simplestories #disneyland

Hi Everyone
Today I am sharing some pages from my trip to Disneyland in January 2014, I only had one spare day while in Anaheim for CHA and that was the day I flew home, we didn't fly out until midnight so I had a full day at Disney and was able to fit in both parks. I am not a huge ride person so I didn't have to worry about lining up for rides.
I created a mini album using Simple Stories Snap Binder along with all three of their Say Cheese collections.

I went to New Zealand back in April for Autumn Escape Retreat and took my Say Cheese Collections and my Disney photos so I could complete this album in between classes.
I thought I would share some of my favourite pages with you all
I absolutely love the Say Cheese Collections and creating this album was super quick

Disney Pocket Pages

Hi, I am on the Couture Creations Blog today with a super quick post.
I am creating an album of my one day visit to Disneyland Anaheim using the Simple Stories 6x8 Snap Album and Say Cheese Collection. which is just perfect for Disney pages.

I wanted to share some of my pages with you that I have used Couture Creations Decorative Dies and Embossing Folders on.

Here are some close ups of the cards created using Couture Creations Decorative Dies and Embossing Folders

 6x8 pocket page

3x4 pocket card

2 x 4x4 pocket cards

I printed all my photos using my Epson PictureMate PM235
which i have had since September and have only just taken it out of the box ...I am now kicking myself for leaving it in the box for so long ...it is amazing the clarity of the photos and the quickness of printing photos are fabulous. It is also so user friendly. I will now be getting some photos in albums that is for sure.

the only technique I have used it to sand back the Core'dinations Cardstock to reveal the core colour on the embossed pieces of Core'dinations card.

here is a closer look at the Damiris die from the Sophia collection, I love the fine detail on the die.
The Sophia collection are still available in limited stocks and are worth a revisit.

Disneyland Adventures Printers Tray

Hi Kerrie here, can you believe January is over all ready ...

For my Couture Creations Design Team project I created this printers tray using photos from my recent trip to Disneyland after CHA.
I had a fabulous time visiting Disneyland for the very first time and met lots of Disney characters, these are some of my favourite photos.

I have had this tray for some years and I don't stick the cards to the tray so I can remove them when I want to have a change and that way I can pop them in a pocket page and straight  into my album.

I used  6x6 patterned paper for all backgrounds, cutting each background piece to 4" x 6"
I printed all my photos straight from my phone using my Polaroid GL10 printer, I so love this printer.

I cut 6 x 3.5" x 5"  pieces of white Core'dinations cardstock to mount all my photos and then embellished each card using a selection of dies and flat embellishments.
I embossed and sanded 4 of the base patterned papers to add some interest to my cards, this keeps them flat enough for pocket pages but makes them less boring :)
Distress the edges of all bases using the edge of non stick scissors

*Tip when using an A2 folder after running your patterned paper through the machine match up your pattern with the other end and only run the end that needs embossing through the machine.

here is a look at all the cards individually

When placing double sided tape to back of Classic Chevron die cuts, use the 3mm tape as it is easy to manipulate into the chevron pattern

I die cut 3x Party Banners to add to printers tray after placing all cards into their places.
