Happy Father's Day

Firstly I would like to wish all the fabulous Dads, Grandads & Great Grandads  a very Happy Father's Day, I hope you have all had a wonderful day with your loved ones.

I have used products from the stash with old chatterbox patterned paper, very old making memories metals added in a touch of new... t!m holtz texture plate, bakers twine and paper doilies.

Trish's Stampin' Up Stamp Club

For those of you who don't have the time to hold a workshop and earn your free Hostess Benefits, joining a Stamp Club would be a fabulous way of earning these benefits.


A monthly stamp club is where you commit to ordering at least $50.00 worth of product each month over a six month period. You will have the opportunity of being a Hostess once during this period and you will receive all the normal Hostess Benefits without hosting an in-home workshop.

Here are the finer details:
•Six people agree to purchae a minimum of $50.00 in Stampin' Up! merchandise for six consecutive months
•Every member will have the opportunity of being "Hostess of the Month" (monthly hostesses will be chosen via a random draw)
•When it is your month to be Hostess, you will receive at least:
• One FREE Level 1 Hostess Stamp Set and at least
• $30.00 FREE merchandise of your choice
• As a hostess, you may chooses to collect outside orders from friends or family to increase your sales thus increasing the mount of free merchandise also.
•As a member you will also receive a FREE copy of the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue.

Advent Calendar

I have just completed another Christmas project... my Advent Calendar.

The boxes are attached using velcro dots so the kidlets can take them off to get the treasures out ☺ The Canvas is coloured with Maya Mists Lime and Avocado.

Welcome Spring

We have had some special events happen in our family last week and i thought i would share some photos.

First up it was T's book week parade at school and you all know we love our book week parades... actually we just love any excuse to dress up. This year Taylah went as Little Red Riding Hood

and secondly and the most exciting news we have had in a long long time .... my neice Jaime had her first baby... I am a "great" aunt .... he is so perfect. I am so proud of Jaime she had a 22hr labor and was just glowing afterwards so I introduce you all to ....

A Creative Place - The End

Well after six years in business A Creative place closed its doors for the very last time... it truly is the end of an era, I know I will miss all the ACP team and all of the wonderful customers i have had the pleasure of spending time with. I wish Sharon and her family all the very best and I am sure they will enjoy their quality time together.

Now Selling Hand Dyed Ribbon and Doilies

Well as i have an obsession with ribbons, doilies, bakers twine and all things pretty, i thought it was time to take the plunge and start selling some of my products that i have sourced.

I have started with a few sets, right here on my blog just look to the right.

My ribbons and doilies are all hand dyed by me and are for craft purposes only as i have used scrapbooking dyes. As all items are hand dyed there are variations in all items, so if you are after something perfectly coloured my products are not for you. Sometimes as they are drying the wind will blow the items together and you do get a bit of colour crossing, i will keep the ones they go crazy for myself as i do like the effect, but if it is just a touch of extra colour i will leave it in the set.
