Halloween Card & Box

Here is a quick Halloween Card and Acetate Box i have just made after reading Leslie Miller's Blog.

For the card i just ran 2/3rds of the card through the cuttlebug, then scored a definition line, rubbed over embossing with brillinance ink pad, added pp, tulle ribbon and a glitter clear. too easy

Leslie has a tutorial on her blog showing you how to make the box it is very quick and easy. After cutting your acetate to size & scoring your fold lines you run it through your cuttlebug, fold it up and use super tape to hold in place, pinch top together and hold with a clip embellished with tulle ribbon and a glitter clear.

still playing

i am still playing around with my blog, trying to customise it, it certainly takes some time to add all the links & pretties - keep checking back as i will continue to add new links. Miss Ashligh is going to make a banner for me after she does Trish's, so i may be waiting for awhile, maybe i should do my own :)

Weekend Retreat

I went to a stamping retreat over the weekend at Brookfield - it was a small retreat organised by two friends Carolyn & Bez (thank you both for a fantastic w/end). I had the best time - fabulous company, fabulous food, fabulous location!

I also managed to make 88 Christmas Cards, some were production line as you need to for Christmas cards.
Here is a sampling of my cards most are purple and white as this will be my theme for this year, those who know me know how anal i am about everything matching for Christmas.
If you have been good this year you just might receive one of these cards for Christmas :)

Welcome

welcome to my blog - i have caved into peer pressure and have started a blog!

i look forward to sharing with you my scrapbooking and cardmaking creations.
