#kerriegurney
Hi Kerrie here I created this simple ivory, gold and kraft layout for the Couture Creations Blog.
I just love these photos of my Great Niece and Nephew all dress up for a wedding.
How gorgeous are they!
I wanted the photos to feature and so went with gold accents to match with sweet Willow's beautiful dress.
Here is a look at how I created some of the glittery gold accents
To create the glittery gold doily I used double sided JAC paper to die cut the lace die (it comes out of the die easily) peel the backing off from one side adhere to base card and peel off the backing paper the top
Sprinkle the whole lace die cut with glitter and press down to get the glitter to attach firmly, tap off excess
TIP - flick over with a duster to remove excess glitter
to create the glittery strip on scalloped trim, run a strip of 3mm double sided tape across the scalloped trim, remove backing paper and sprinkle with glitter. Press on it to so the glitter grips to the tape, tap off excess.
I die cut the vine from Core'dinations Glitter Silk cardstock as I didn't want them to be flat
Create some mulberry paper flowers using rose nesting dies
