Hi Everyone, I have had quite a break from blogging, with my baby finishing up Y12, then a trip to the USA, an unexpected hospital stay, Christmas and then time to recover from my operation and enjoy time with my family along with trying some new crafts.
I am back enjoying my papercrafting
I created these two layouts using the leftovers from my class sample for Celebr8's 3rd Annual Event in South Africa using their Be Happy collection which was released at their events in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town

Instructions
Using Smile paper as layout base.
Mix a smidge of Blue Ink with Yellow ink and smooch onto craft mat, mix with texture paste to create a soft green colour.
Apply texture paste to base layout just using the pineapple top and set aside to dry
Tear a piece from Happy patterned paper stripe side 13cm on the left side to 20cm on right side
Cut a piece 10cm wide x full width of Green 1 pattern paper Fussy cut pineapple, flowers and foliage from Joy patterned paper along with the barcode strip
Layer Striped piece and Green leafy piece to base layout
Embellish using fussy cut pieces and pineapple flair button
Distress the edges of all pieces of paper using your fingernail
Create journaling strips using scraps of Joy paper

Instructions
Smoosh Ocean
Depth Ink Pad onto craft mat and spritz with water. Use cello packet from
stencil and apply colour randomly to layout base. Repeat
steps using Vegas Gold All Purpose Ink, set aside to dry.
Colour Happy Chipboard with Vegas Gold and Arrow bracket using yellow then blue ink pads set aside to dry.
Cut from Green 1 patterned paper x 20cm x 20cm.
Cut 2 x 1.5cm strips from Blue 1 patterned paper and 1 x 6cm x 6cm piece
Cut from Green 2 Chevron 1 x 10cm x 3cm piece
Cut from Green 2 Spot 1 x 4cm x 5cm piece
Cut from Pink 2 1 x 8cm x 3cm piece
Cut down backing card from Chipboard sentiments to 28cm
Cut flowers and foliage from Smile patterned paper
Create journaling strips from off cut backing card
Layer all pieces onto white cardstock base.
