Wooden Easter Tree Kit

here are some pics of the Wooden Easter Tree i made up for A Creative Place. I used my oval nestabilities for the eggs and ran them and some of the chipboard shapes through the cuttlebug. For this tree i have used tulle ribbon, but you can use organza ribbon.

They have limited stocks of this kits available - for more details you can go to their blog or drop into the store.

Make & Take Share

as i have been busy with my niece, nephew & my mum visiting, i haven't scrapped anything else, so i thought i would share some passbook booklets i made for a make & take class i did for A Creative Place. They are a great idea for giving gift cards or just to make a little brag book. Made with just one sheet of A4 or 12x12 patterned paper, ribbon and a few embellishments.

To help me get used to my new camera i thought i would join the photography challenge over on two peas.

In Memory Of Megan

I thought i would share some layouts i did in 2006 of my sister Megan - Megan lost her 3 month battle with cancer on Jan 6th 2006.

I still do not believe that Megan is gone, three years on it is still so unbelievable!
If you are in a position to donate money to the Cancer Council please do as every cent helps with their research to find a cure.

the layout above i did the morning of Megan's funeral for the funeral service - the photo was taken Oct 2005

at Mum's 60th and my brother Shane's 40th birthday party June 2003

at my 40th Birthday with her daughter Grayson Oct 2004

Begining of 2005 on a night out with her work friends

Oct 2005 - three weeks after Megan was diagnosed - still with that beautiful smile

i am back

well after loosing access to the internet before Christmas, i finally have a new modem and i am back online!
I hope you all had a safe and happy Christmas and i wish you all a wonderful 2009.
You would think with no internet access i would have been creating up a storm, but sadly no nothing! I have instead caught the Twilight bug and have spent the time reading all four of Stephenie Meyer's books, if you haven't yet read these books i highly recommend that you do. Be prepared to be hooked, i have even been dreaming about all of the characters! Tragic I know :)

and yes of course i have seen the movie

well i am off to clean up my craft room so that i can scrap
