{Inter}National Scrapbooking Day Cocoa Vanilla Challenge

Happy {Inter}National Scrapbooking Day
I love seeing the scrapbooking world join together in a day/weekend of challenges and creating
I have joined in the challenge over on Cocoa Vanilla's Facebook Group
We were give the challenge of Scraplifting a layout created by Zoe Pearn


I have use the Wild at Heart collection for this photo of my sister Megan and I
I love this photo even though the quality of it isn't great it brings so many happy memories.
This was taken while we were clubbing at Blueys on Bribie,  we had such a fun time growing up on Bribie Island.

Beautiful Moments and Happy Memories | Stuck?! Sketches September 1

Hi Everyone,

I have once again joined the challenge over on Stuck?! Sketches for a bit of fun

I have used Ultimate Crafts Season's Greetings papers, decorative dies and Handmade Paper Poinsettias  along with Couture Creations Anna Griffin Embossing Paste sprinkling Couture Creations  Be Merry Gold Glitter over the Embossing Paste while it was still wet to add a touch of sparkle to my page.

Beautiful Santorini | Stuck?! Sketches August 15th Sketch

Hi Everyone

I thought I would play along with Stuck?! Sketches again as I love this August 15th Sketch

I have used Bo Bunny's Butterfly Kisses papers along with Couture Creations Anna Griffin Embossing Paste, Glitter and Pigments and Couture Creations Be Merry Quatrefoil Stencil
which are just perfect for these photos of my beautiful baby girl in Santorini with school this last school holidays.

Love Always Layout | Stuck?! Sketches April Challenge 2016

Hi Everyone,
My layout today is of my beautiful sister Megan, who passed away in Jan 2006  this photo was taken just after Megan was diagnosed with cancer. We had a girls weekend up the coast and I will forever treasure those memories of our wonderful weekend with our besties, I just wish I had taken more photos, sadly we thought we would have more time with Megan, but her cancer was so aggressive and took hold so quickly.
 I look at this photo and other from the weekend and all the memories from that weekend come flooding back to me and one thing that I remember the most is Megan kept smiling all weekend.
This is why taking photos and recording your memories is just so important.


I have been sick with pneumonia for the last few weeks and so with lots of time to browse the internet, rather than shopping online,
I thought I would get browse some challenge sites for inspiration.
I came across this sketch from Stuck?! Sketches and used it as my inspiration for my layout



here are a couple of steps on how my background was created


layer all the paper pieces and mark their placement


I  used the Ultimate Crafts Magnolia Lane Damask Frame die to create a mask for adding texture paste


while the texture paste was still wet I sprinkled on some Couture Creations ultra fine iridescent glitter

i have been tagged

I have been tagged by Sarah, one of my DW friends on 2peas - sorry Sarah i have been a bit slow doing this
So here is what you have to do

Go to your pictures folder, select the 4th folder, find the 4th photo and then share on your blog.
so here is mine, it is from may 2004



this is Miss Taylah with you all know who, Taylah is 4 in this pic. The bizzare thing is that i came accorss these photos they other day while looking for some other photos and thought i really should scrap these, so now i will have to :)

Card Workshop with Nancy

Here is the card i made for Nancy's workshop challenge - i just love Nancy's work, so i thought i would take up the challenge and make one of her card designs.

products used - basic grey; sophia patterned paper - cuttlebug; spots and dots & floral fantasty embossing folders - black spot organza ribbon - daisy chain lace - paper flowers, stickers & rubons from my stash - kaiser rhinestones - glitter.
