January 2nd of #ALCalendarChallenge2022

My friend Trish and I were very lucky to feed Rosie the Giraffe at Australia Zoo for our birthdays last October it was an amazing experience and we bot loved our time at the zoo 

I have used Carta Bella Summer Collection again for this layout 

Instead of cutting apart pre made definitions I used a selection of chipboard and sticker sentiments. I also popped a pull out tag for my journaling  

I coloured this chipboard from Celebr8 using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink pad + Maya Road Iridescent Pearl Maya Mist  - see I told you there would be some classics, who still has Maya Road Mists in their stash???

I have realised while looking for something in my files that I never shared the full layout I created for a class at Craft Giraffe back in October last year using
Ultimate Crafts Australiana Collection

I have used Couture Creations Mikashet Woodgrain Embossing Folder to not only emboss my cardstock pennant but also to stamp a subtle background

I do love the Australiana Collection which was designed by Denise Boddey for Ultimate Crafts 

All products are available from your local Aussie papercraft stores

Hi everyone

well the excitement of the Craft & Hobby Association Mega Show or CHA as it is know as, is in full swing with so many gorgeous products and collections being released and showcased.
I so wish I was there seeing everything and being inspired by all the amazing displays...but this year I am having to live the show through Instagram and Facebook, maybe next year I will get to go again.

While I couldn't be there this year some of my layouts and cards are and
I am now able to share my layouts and cards I created for Couture Creations for the Artdeco Creations booth at the show using the soon to be released

I am loving this collection and can't wait for it to arrive in stores
