Hi Everyone
Kerrie here with a double layout I created using Celebr8's Snap It Collection
I met Dennis & Erin the owners of Celebr8  while in South Africa when they offered to come and take me out for the day on one of my days off. It is a day I will forever treasure as not only did I get to spend the day with two of the sweetest people, they took me to spend the day at  The Lion & Safari Park . There really are no words to describe how amazing our day was but it is one I will never forget. The generosity of Dennis and Erin didn't stop there they also gave me a box filled with their fabulous collections, so look out for more layouts using their gorgeous Celebr8 collections.

and to keep with the South African theme
I have used Cariena Basson from Scrapbook Studios' July sketch

I haven't used flowers as my photos from the Keith Urban and  Sheppard concert weren't flower type photos

here are some close ups of my chipboard embellishments. I coloured them with my brown dye ink pad and then popped on some texture paste and love how when they dried they have that crackled effect. I coloured my ric rac with some brown mist

can you believe how incredibly adorable these boys are.
I still cannot believe I got to play and walk with these gorgeous boys.

Lights Camera Action Double Page Layout | Celebr8

Singapore Day & Night Zoo Layout

I created this layout using Lesa Bird's sketch Lesa designed for her Couture Creations Design Team application.

While these are not the most attractive photos, they tell a story of just how hot and humid it was in Singapore both before and after the storm. Although we had to run around the day zoo as it was pouring, we enjoyed both Zoo's the crowds at the night zoo were unbelievable.

I also embossed the Longevity die cut flowers, to give them some texture

to emboss the 12" x 7" piece of Cardstock I folded it in thirds and ran it though the Cuttlebug this give a embossed and debossed background

I also embossed the strip of patterned paper

Singapore Day & Night Zoo Layout

Needing Inspiration

I am in desperate need of some inspiration i have a room full of product and it just sits in the bag waiting for me to come and play... so when i saw this class on Kelly Purkey's Blog i thought why not ...  i am all signed up and paid up and now cleaning up my work area so that i am ready for when the class starts.

Sketchbook 3 is a four week class filled with fresh sketches, easy instructions, beautiful examples, and lots of fun.  From April 4th to April 29th a PDF will be delivered to your inbox every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so you can work at your own pace. This class is designed to be used at any time and over + over again when you need inspiration.

I am so looking forward to actually creating ♥

Needing Inspiration

here are some pages i did last night, my scanner has cut off the edges of them all but you get the idea

Birthday Girls is based on this Page Maps Sketch i have used all basic grey eva pp's and stickers, kaisercraft pearls, green tara flowers.

Taylah & Kirra is based on this page maps sketch, i have used up some old chatterbox pp, heidi swapp ghost flowers, kaisercraft brads, green tara flowers.

and then this double page layout

Baw Baw 83 is using up very old photos not particulary good photos at that, old sweetwater pp, old making memories metal frames, snowflake brads, foam stamps & paints, cuttlebug snowflake die.

these bottom photos are of me tackling my little sister Megan, poor girl didn't stand a chance lol

Another Ballet Page

this is the same sketch as the post before but i have done this one for Taylah's room.

Another Ballet Page

Girls Night In @ Curves Capalaba

Here is the layout i made today to give as a donation for the "Girls Night In" silent auction at Curves Capalaba. I am putting it into the 12x12 frame which i bought from here.

i am still playing around with my blog, trying to customise it, it certainly takes some time to add all the links & pretties - keep checking back as i will continue to add new links. Miss Ashligh is going to make a banner for me after she does Trish's, so i may be waiting for awhile, maybe i should do my own :)
