A Creative Place - The End

Well after six years in business A Creative place closed its doors for the very last time... it truly is the end of an era, I know I will miss all the ACP team and all of the wonderful customers i have had the pleasure of spending time with. I wish Sharon and her family all the very best and I am sure they will enjoy their quality time together.

ACP Claytons Retreat

I am teaching a couple of classes and a make and take at the ACP Claytons Retreat so i thought i would share some sneak peeks with you.

the first class is using Maya Road Chipboard Dress Form pieces and creating a banner to hang in either your art/craft room or you could hang it in your kitchen, childs room, bathroom....anywhere really or give it as a gift to someone special.

the second class is a 6x6 mini album which is perfect for highlighting those special family moments, you can have the album on display on your coffee table or on your buffet so that you can share those special moments with visitors to your home. We will be using papers from the gorgeous Bo Bunny Sophie collection for this class.

The Retreat is on May 21st - May 23rd - there are some places left in some of the classes see here for more.
There will also be cropping sessions at the "retreat" so come along for a fun weekend, i think i will stay at the venue and make a "its all about me" weekend of it☺

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

Please join me for A Creative Place's Scrapbooking Tea Party! I'm holding this in support of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea 2009 and would be thrilled if you would join me.

There'll be plenty of fun, plenty of tea and all money raised will help the Cancer Council continue its research, education, prevention and patient support services to help all those affected by cancer.

To raise funds for this important cause, here's what I plan to do.

'Along with loads of yummy food, cups of tea and coffee we will be having a make and take and play with the Cuttlebug and Cricut in exchange for a donation to the Cancer Council. Everyone is invited to bring a small plate of food to share and if it's homemade be sure to bring the recipe.
'

To RSVP or to make a donation all you have to do is click on the link below:

Wooden Easter Tree Kit

here are some pics of the Wooden Easter Tree i made up for A Creative Place. I used my oval nestabilities for the eggs and ran them and some of the chipboard shapes through the cuttlebug. For this tree i have used tulle ribbon, but you can use organza ribbon.

They have limited stocks of this kits available - for more details you can go to their blog or drop into the store.
