Hi Everyone Kerrie here
Can you believe September is almost over, this year is going by in the blink of an eye.
I am sharing with you all a card tutorial I created for the Couture Creations Blog
I created this shabby chic look card with a touch of glitter perfect for any occasion
Remove the embossing folder and cover the card completely with white embossing powder (fine or thick)
Spritz with a metallic mist
Pop some foam mounting tape onto the back of the embossed strip and adhere to base card
Layer on Silver glitter border strip and some paper flowers.

I created this shabby chic look card with a touch of glitter perfect for any occasion
Start by inking up Christmas Quilt embossing folder using a versamark or clear ink pad.
Make sure you use your Couture Creations Craft Mat so as not to get residue on your cutting mat
Next lay the embossing folder onto your card and apply pressure all over, remember it doesn't have to be perfect (you can used a brayer for a more even look)
tap off the excess
heat set using our NEW Couture Creations Heat Tool
Spritz with a metallic mist
See how easy clean up is when you use your Couture Creations Craft Mat
Wipe clean your embossing folder either using a baby wipe or run it under the tap using soap.
Dry the embossing folder off
cut a strip of Core'dinations Core Cardstock
Emboss the strip
sand lightly to reveal the core colour using Couture Creations Sanding Block
Die Cut 2 part pieces of Splendor Ornamental Lace Dies one from White Core'dnations Foundations Cardstock and the other from Grey Core'dinations Core Cardstock (you can do this from scraps as you don't need the full die cut)
lightly the edges of the doily to reveal the core colour using Couture Creations Sanding Block
Die cut a section of one of the Simplicty Border dies from Core'dinations Silver Glittersilk Cardstock
Layer your two part doily dies onto base card
Pop some foam mounting tape onto the back of the embossed strip and adhere to base card
Layer on Silver glitter border strip and some paper flowers.
Add some Crystalina Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue to the flowers for some sparkle
Finish off with some Pink Blush Pearls
