Cole's First Christmas | Crate Paper

Day 9 of #ALCalendarChallenge2022

I'm back with another beautiful Santa photo this time it's my niece and her partner with their 1st Christmas as parents to their gorgeous boy. He is my first great nephew on my hubby's side of the family. I have 7 on my side!

My inspiration for this layout was to create a faux ribbon background by cutting strips of patterned papers. I adhered some straight on and others I sewed onto my layout.
(I ran out of thread and couldn't find the instructions on how to replace the bobbin on my handheld sewing machine)

I have used Crate Paper Hey Santa Collection for my layout

Christmas Magic | Crate Paper

Day 8 of #ALCalendarChallenge2022

Another Christmas layout I love this Santa photo of my great nephews and great niece with their new puppy
My inspiration for this layout was creating tags for layers and for the hidden journaling

Holiday Cheer | Crate Paper

Day 7 of my #ALCalendarChallenge2022

I took my inspiration was from the stitched squares but instead of fabric I created paper stitched squares

These are my furbabies "excited" for Christmas
Cadbury being a lab will do anything for a treat but our Sassy Sunny well she is not happy at all being made to suffer not only wearing anything strange but sitting to have a photo taken

messy stitches, I have a handheld sewing machine which I am still getting used to but I quite like the messiness of my stitching

I have used Crate Paper Hey Santa Collection for this layout

Gnome Christmas Tags and Bon Bons | Couture Creations

Hi Everyone, Kerrie here with my last post as Guest Designer for Couture Creations.

I want to thank the Couture Creations team for having me back as their guest designer for the last 3 months I have enjoyed creating all my projects with their Deck The Halls Christmas Collection
If you haven't yet got your hands on this collection get out and grab some now it is a fun collection to create with and so perfect for personalising your Christmas gifting and and Christmas table decor.

For these gift card I used Couture Creations Snow White Cardstock which I cut down to 5cm x 7.5cm and then cut the corners off to create tag shape. I then created a border around the edge using a fine black pen. I also used the pen on the backs on my tags to write To: and From:

I then grabbed Festive Gnome, Winter Gnome and Gnome Girls Self Adhesive Embellishments and popped them on the tags. These embellishments are perfect for creating quick tags and they come with foam adhesive attached and they layered already so you don't have to do anything but stick them on your tags
To finish off you just add ribbon for tying onto your gifts

You can also use these embellishments to add some fun to your Christmas Bon Bons
It's as easy as popping on a Gnome Embellishment straight onto your bon bon

With Christmas fast approaching I hope I have inspired you to create some gifts tags and add some uniqueness to your Christmas gift giving and Christmas table

Christmas Mini Album | Maya Road

Last night I went to a crop at A Place to Create and made up this mini album kit from Maya Road ... even though I copied it straight from the kit instructions it still took 6 hours to create. I am really happy with the pages except they do not fit back in the album properly ... I think I will have to pull some of the gingerbread men's legs off  so that I am able to flip the pages, then I can pop some photos in ☺
